Plant Growing Competition
We will be running a plant growing competition for fun, this year, The Gold Club are kindly supplying some plug plant Fuchsias, for us to grow. These will be available at our April meeting.

Wednesday 1st May RHS Rosemore
- All day visit by coach
- Few places left
- Cost approximately £20
Friday 2nd August Taunton Flower Show
- Sign up now for discount tickets
- £18.00 per person – non group £25 per person
- Make your own way there or car share
Wednesday 7th August - Burrow Farm Gardens
- All day visit with coach
The Garden Patch Afternoon Bash – Sunday 19th May
- Plant sale and tea and cake 1.00 pm - 5.pm
- West Pennard Village Hall
- Raise money for our club
- Please take cuttings, sow seeds etc for plants we can sell
- Derek Dexter, Fuchsia Expert (spoke to us last year) will be joining us to sell his Fuchsias

Tombola
Our aim is to run this again at the Baltonsborough show, so please bring any items that will be suitable for the tombola.
What’s app group
For convenience of communication, we have a Garden Club What’s App group, I know that many members use this phone app. If you would like to be added to this group, put your name and mobile number on the sign-up sheet.
This will be for Garden Club Members and can be used for the following:
- Checking on meeting times and speakers
- Asking Garden Questions that other members will be able to answer
- Leaving feedback about meetings or speakers
- Leaving suggestions for future speaker.
If you do not use What’s app there will still be a Newsletter and information on the village hall web site
